Winner of a Tony Award and nine Drama Desk Awards, "Forbidden Broadway: Alive and Kicking," is coming to the San Jose Repertory Theatre for a limited engagement. Travelzoo subscribers can save 50% on tickets to the show the Associated Press calls "deliriously funny."

Parterre seats are available for the following dates, times and pricing:

  • Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 7:30 p.m. ... $25 (reg. $50)
  • Thursday, Feb. 27 at 8 p.m.... $25 (reg. $50)
  • Friday, Feb. 28 at 8 p.m. ... $30 (reg. $60)

This new touring version of a satiric staple roasts “Book of Mormon,” “Once,” “Rock of Ages,” and “Jersey Boys,” with new takes on evergreens such as “Les Miz,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “The Lion King” and “Chicago.”

The Associated Press says "Forbidden Broadway" "provides more joy than most of the big-time shows it skewers" and the New York Times says it has an "infectious energy."

Book by Feb. 28.
Restrictions may apply. Subject to availability. An additional fee of $5 per ticket is additional. Fees are determined by ticketing agent and venue, and not by Travelzoo.
