The San Francisco Examiner says "Black Watch" is "heart-stopping" ... "a dramatic, and at times downright thrilling, spectacle." The New York Times calls it "astonishing," and The Washington Post adds the show is "enthralling."

The National Theatre of Scotland and ACT present "Black Watch," a critically acclaimed production inspired by interviews with soldiers who served in Iraq with Scotland's nearly 300-year-old "Black Watch" regiment. A unique performance venue was created at the drill-court inside the iconic Mission Armory. Choreographed marches, Scottish ballads and powerful video footage will be featured in this theatrical event.

The Independent (London) called the show a "landmark event," and The San Francisco Chronicle says it's "exhilarating" and "a complete triumph."
