In Verdi’s heart-wrenching tale, "La Traviata," a conflicted courtesan unexpectedly finds, and then selflessly gives up, the love of her all-too-short life.
The opera stars, as Violetta, the fallen woman of the title, Nicole Cabell, whose voice “lent a mysterious and almost otherworldly urgency to Violetta’s plight” (San Francisco Chronicle) and Ailyn Perez, whose performance of the role at London’s Royal Opera House was hailed as “an unalloyed triumph” (The Guardian, London).
