Score half-price tickets to "Foodies! The Musical," a musical comedy all about food that the San Francisco Chronicle calls "hilarious."
For $17 (reg. $34), grab seats anywhere in the intimate Shelton Theater on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. through Dec. 28; seats are first-come, first-served.
The SF Weekly says "Foodies! The Musical" is "a thorough skewering of eating habits, restaurants, trends, quirks and more."
"Foodies!" is in its second year and was written by composer/lyricist Morris Bobrow, four-time winner of the San Francisco Bay Area Theater Critics Circle Award and writer of the long-run shows "Shopping! The Musical" and "Party of 2 -- The Mating Musical."
Hollywood DramaLogue calls Bobrow "one of the wittiest and classiest songwriters around" and says "he has a marvelous facility for taking almost any subject and writing sophisticated, witty and very incisive lyrics plus equally infectious music."
