Disney's new musical "Newsies" has made headlines this year as an "irresistible, high-energy winner" (Entertainment Weekly). During this limited-time sale, Front Mezzanine seats are $89 (regularly up to $122) for most performances through Sept. 4.
Not Included: Aug. 22 matinee and Sept. 1 evening show
Hailed by The New York Times as "a musical worth singing about," "Newsies" was inspired by the real-life newsboy strike of 1899, when a band of underdogs took on the biggest names in publishing to fight for justice and fair pay. Eight-time Oscar winner Alan Menken ("Beauty and the Beast") won his first Tony Award for the "Newsies" score.
Travelzoo Tip: In this theater, Front Mezzanine seats are closer to the stage than many seats in the Orchestra. The elevation also creates the best views of the "dazzlingly athletic choreography" (USA Today).
