Disney's new musical "Newsies" has made headlines this year as an "irresistible, high-energy winner" (Entertainment Weekly). During Broadway Week, "Newsies" is offering their best deal of the year.
Mid Mezzanine seats at Nederlander Theatre are now $82-$92 (reg. $124-$142) through Sept. 16. A minimum purchase of 2 seats will be required.
Hailed by The New York Times as "a musical worth singing about," "Newsies" was inspired by the real-life newsboy strike of 1899, when a band of underdogs took on the biggest names in publishing to fight for justice and fair pay. Eight-time Oscar winner Alan Menken ("Beauty and the Beast") won his first Tony Award for the "Newsies" score.
