Select tickets to "Avenue Q," winner of a 2004 Tony Award for Best Musical, are now up to $27.50 off for most performances through Sept. 8.

This irreverent musical is "one of the funniest shows you’re likely ever to see," according to Entertainment Weekly. "Rent" meets "Sesame Street" in this hilarious and touching story of real life in New York City, told by a cast of both people and puppets.

Tickets to Sunday through Friday performances at New York City's New World Stages are now available at the following seating levels:

  • Rear Mezzanine ... $55 (reg. $72.50)
  • Orchestra and First Row Mezzanine ... $65 (reg. $92.50)

About the show: Princeton, a bright-eyed college grad, comes to New York City with big dreams and a tiny bank account. He discovers Avenue Q -- the only neighborhood in his price range. Princeton and his new neighbors struggle to find jobs, dates and their purposes in life. Music and lyrics for the show were written by Robert Lopez, co-creator of "The Book of Mormon."

Please note this show is for mature audiences only and not recommended for children.
