John Lithgow recently returned to Broadway as infamous journalist Joseph Alsop in "The Columnist." Travelzoo subscribers can save as much as 40% on tickets to see his performance, which earned a Tony nomination.

Seats at the intimate Samuel J. Friedman Theatre are available in the following sections through July 1:

  • Mezzanine rows E-G ... $48 (reg. $67)
  • Mezzanine rows C-D ... $58 (reg. $91)
  • Orchestra and Mezzanine rows A-B ... $78 (reg. $121)

Joseph Alsop was beloved, feared and courted in equal measure by the Washington political world. But as the '60s approached and American culture entered a time of dizzying change, the intense political drama Joe was embroiled in became deeply personal as well. This is the newest play from Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning playwright David Auburn.
