The show is formatted as a concert in which Joplin is joined by her musical influences, including icons like Aretha Franklin, Etta James and Bessie Smith. It includes hit songs such as “Me and Bobby McGee,” “Piece of My Heart,” “Mercedes Benz,” "Cry Baby” and “Summertime.”
