Take the kids to the California State Fair and save big on Tuesdays, when kids 12 and under get in free and ride tickets are just $1. Considering kids tickets are regularly $8 and unlimited ride wristbands go for $28, this offer can quickly add up to a huge savings.

Head to the fairgrounds at Sacramento's CalExpo on July 17 or 24 to take advantage of the deal. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for seniors ages 62 and older.

Attractions at the 159th-annual California State Fair include 68 rides on the midway, a kids area featuring family-friendly games and rides, exhibits, food, shopping and more.
