The Washington State Fair Events Center shines on after the fair has ended with Luminasia, an expansive outdoor lantern and light display. Travelzoo subscribers can save 50% on entry to this “nighttime spectacle” featuring “fiery colors and ornate motifs” (The News Tribune).
On Fridays and Sundays through Oct. 13, score tickets for just $9 (reg. $18) to this "riveting" (The Herald), larger-than-life display of glowing light, color and lantern-lit Chinese artwork.
Luminasia is a walk-through attraction covering more than two acres and showcasing Washington landmarks and traditional Chinese icons, all glowing from within. Don't miss the 66-foot-tall Space Needle, totem poles and apple orchards lit with more than 50,000 bulbs.
Attraction opens at 6 p.m. Last entry is at 11 p.m. Enter at the Orange Parking Lot on the west side of the facility.
