The Drama Desk- and Tony Award-winning play "The Elephant Man" opens this week at Houston's Alley Theatre. With this Local Deal, tickets to see the powerful true story of a man struggling with his deformity are up to 35% off.

B2 and B5 seats are now $21 (reg. $26-$30) and A1 and A2 seats are $35 (reg. $55) at the following performances:

  • Friday, April 12 at 8 p.m.
  • Sunday, April 14 and 2:30 and 7:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, April 16 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, April 21 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, April 28 at 7:30 p.m.

Based on the real-life story of a severely deformed man named John Merrick, "The Elephant Man" details his life from starring in a Victorian freak show to becoming the toast of London high society.
