Voted Myrtle Beach's No. 1 live theater by readers of The Sun News, the Alabama Theatre has released a family-friendly special through Sept. 3.

For every adult ticket purchased, one child (16 or younger) gets a free show ticket.

With tickets starting at $31.90 for balcony seating, a family of four (two adults and two kids) would pay just $63.80 for a night at the theater -- roughly $16 per person. That's significantly less than a New York City Broadway theater ticket.

The special is valid for summer performances of "One - The New Show," a theatrical extravaganza featuring music, dancing and comedy from Broadway, Las Vegas and Nashville. Click here for a preview of the show.
