There hasn't been a tribute show like this. "The Hungry Hungry Games" is an on-stage parody of the popular best-selling novel and movie series "The Hunger Games." Get tickets to the world premiere for $24, regularly $34, at CityStage in Springfield.

Choose from performances on Wednesday-Saturday, May 8-11, at 8 p.m.

The creative minds behind "The Hungry Hungry Games: A Parody" also created the critically acclaimed comedy "Spank! The Fifty Shades Parody." Writer Jim Millan's credits also include "Kids in the Hall," "Spider-Man" on Broadway and "Mythbusters Live."

The storyline tackles such topics as poverty, oppression, war and 12-year-olds with bows and arrows. Get ready for a hilarious night of jokes and fun.
