Get ready for an exciting night of music with Grammy-nominated Cuban band Tiempo Libre set to team up with the Oregon Symphony for a one-night event in May. With this exclusive offer, tickets start at $22 (regularly $43).

The concert takes place on Thursday, May 9, at 7:30 p.m. Four seating sections at Arlene Schnitzer Hall in Portland are discounted:

  • $22, reg. $43 Lower Balcony
  • $28, reg. $55 Mid Orchestra Center, Rows O-Z
  • $35, reg. $70 Front Orchestra Center, Rows F-N
  • $71, reg. $95 Front Orchestra Center Rows A-E

Miami-based Tiempo Libre plays music that is filled with rich tradition of their native Cuba. Cincinnati.com called Tiempo Libre a "fun program" and “a terrific mambo medley,” and The New York Times said "the strong, serene groove of the drummer ... (was a reminder) that you were listening to something irreducibly Cuban.” Carlos Kalmar will conduct– with the entire Oregon Symphony.

Book by May 8.
