Caladh Nua is a band with origins rooted in the southeastern counties of Ireland. These five musicians and singers play a variety of instruments, including banjo, fiddle, guitar, bodhrán, tin whistle and button accordion. The group captures the qualities of traditional Irish music while adding innovative and contemporary style. Caladh Nua plays “solid traditional music with plenty of flair and lots of musical imagination” (Irish Music Magazine).
