Royal Shakespeare Company's "Julius Caesar" stops in Columbus for a limited engagement at Southern Theatre in May. Weekday performances are up to 70% off for the modern adaptation called "vibrant" by The New York Times.
All seats are $20, regularly $38-$68, for the performances Wednesday, May 1, at 7:30 p.m., and Thursday, May 2, at 8 p.m.
Set in contemporary Africa, the production of Shakespeare's political thriller tells the story of the conspiracy against Caesar, his assassination and the defeat of his conspirators. The New York Times says "this 'Julius Caesar' is the easiest to follow I've seen."
