An all-star, international cast shines when Verdi's "A Masked Ball" takes the stage at the San Diego Opera's Civic Theatre in March, and Travelzoo subscribers can save more than 35% on tickets.

"A Masked Ball" is an opera about jealousy and politics, inspired by the assassination of King Gustav III. The musical drama stars Polish tenor Piotr Beczala, known as "one of the new generation's top three tenors" (LA Times), and is conducted by Italian conductor Massimo Zanetti with his "zeal for crisp attacks and sophisticated detailing" (Financial Times).
