Grab the girls to go see "Menopausia El Musical," the uplifting show that the Fresno Bee says is "extremely funny" and the Houston Press says "turns angst into rollicking good humor." This new Spanish-language version of "Menopause The Musical," which has played to audiences around the world since it opened in 2001, makes its world premiere in L.A. this October.

Orchestra Rows K-Q are $24 (reg. $40) for select performances at The Montalban. Choose from 8 p.m. performances Friday-Saturday, Oct. 11-12, or a 5 p.m. performance Sunday, Oct. 13.

"Menopausia El Musical" is about four strangers who meet in Bloomingdale's and bond over the shared experience. Their story is told through well-known songs from the 1960s, '70s and '80s such as "Night Fever" and "My Guy," rewritten with some unexpected lyrics. It culminates with a salute to women who are experiencing "The Change."
