The Florida Grand Opera closes out its season next week with Massenet's "Thais," and tickets to select performances are up to 40% off for the opera about the captivating courtesan and the monk who believes he needs to save her soul.

The following seating sections are available at the Broward Center in Fort Lauderdale on Thursday, May 15, at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, May 17, at 7:30 p.m.:

  • Lower Balcony ... $28 (reg. $46)
  • Mezzanine ... $47 (reg. $79)
  • Prime Orchestra ... $120 (reg. $200)

The opera takes place in ancient Egypt, and includes one of the most well-known pieces in classical music, the intermezzo for solo violin and orchestra in Act II, known as "The Meditation."

Book by May 16.
