Carolina Ballet is celebrating George Balanchine, one of the 20th century's most influential choreographers, with a special tribute. Travelzoo subscribers can save more than 20% on tickets to select performances of "Balanchine's Rubies."

Tickets for Center Orchestra Rows B-P and Balcony Row A -- the best seats in the house -- are $44-$52 (reg. $56-$66) for the following performances:

  • Saturday, Oct. 26 at 2 p.m.
  • Saturday, Oct. 26 at 8 p.m.
  • Sunday, Oct. 27 at 2 p.m.

"Rubies" is a section of the award-winning "Jewels," Balanchine's unique three-act plotless ballet, set to a jazz-inflected Stravinsky score. Balanchine's "Raymonda Variations," "Rondo alla Zingarese" and "The Steadfast Tin Soldier" will also be performed.

Note: The least expensive seats are for the 2 p.m. performance Oct. 26.

Book by Oct. 26.
