Named the 2012 Tony Award winner for Best Musical Revival, "The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess" is coming to the Detroit Opera House and tickets are up to 40% off. 

Choose from the following performances:

  • Tuesday, March 4 at 8 p.m.
  • Wednesday, March 5 at 8 p.m.
  • Thursday, March 6 at 8 p.m.
  • Sunday, March 9 at 7:30 p.m.

These seating sections are available:

  • Mezzanine 2 ... $35 (reg. $59)
  • Main Floor, Boxes, Mezzanine 1 ... $59 (reg. $79)

Note: Balcony tickets are also available for $24-$35 (reg. $29-$44). 

This Broadway musical version of The Gershwins' classic love story was called "exquisite, intimate and musically ravishing" by Time. It features legendary songs like "Summertime" and "It Ain't Necessarily So." Time says the show is "faithful to what counts most -- Gershwin’s lush, bluesy, irreplaceable score."
