The world-renowned Chicago Symphony Orchestra is performing three unique programs this April and tickets are buy one, get one free for all shows at Symphony Center's Orchestra Hall.
All seats, except for Box seats, are $32-$170, for the following programs:
- Salonen Conducts Sibelius - April 3 at 8 p.m. and April 8 at 7:30 p.m.: Frequent guest conductor Esa-Pekka Salonen returns to lead the CSO in a gorgeous masterpiece from his native Finland, Sibelius’ Four Legends from the Kalevala.
- Dvorak Violin Concerto - April 10 at 8 p.m.: Viscerally explosive and impeccably virtuosic, German violinist Christian Tetzlaff plays Dvorák’s soulful and folk-inspired Violin Concerto.
- Mozart and Strauss - April 24 at 8 p.m.: English conductor Sir Mark Elder leads the CSO in Richard Strauss’ Till Eulenspiegel, Mozart’s graceful Piano Concerto No. 3 and Ives’ gorgeously romantic and nostalgic Symphony No. 2.
