David Mamet's "American Buffalo," winner of the Obie Award and New York Drama Critics' Best Play Award, is currently being staged by the Kansas City Repertory Theatre. This is only the third time in the Rep's history that they have presented a Mamet play, and tickets are now $27 (reg. $45-$55) for shows at Copaken Stage.

Main and Terrace level seats are now $27 (reg. $45-$55) for the following performances of this Mamet classic:

  • Saturday, May 11 at 3 p.m.
  • Sunday, May 12 at 2 p.m.
  • Saturday, May 18 at 3 p.m.

Mamet's two-act "American Buffalo" centers on three rough-hewn characters in a Chicago resale shop planning a scheme to recover a valuable buffalo nickel.

Note: Due to strong language, the show is recommended for ages 17 and up.

Book by May 15.
