The Cinncinnati Symphony will perform two concerts this spring, and tickets are now 55% off for the performances at Music Hall. "Inextinguishable" features Nielsen's symphony, as well as selections from Beethoven and Britten. "Fanfare for Cincinnati" will feature a multimedia presentation of historic images of Cincinnati set to music by Jennifer Higdon, Barber and Copland.  

Rear Orchestra seats are $25, regularly $55, for the 8 p.m. concerts of "Inextinguishable" on Friday-Saturday, April 26-27, and "Fanfare for Cincinnati" on Friday-Saturday, May 3-4.

Violinist Simone Lamsma will join the orchestra for Britten's Violin Concerto during "Inextinguishable." Pianist Garrick Ohlsson, called "at the top of the Lizst" by The Seattle Times, will perform Barber's Piano Concerto during "Fanfare for Cincinnati."
