"Whirled News Tonight" has been creating "fascinating, funny scenes" for nearly a dozen years (Chicago Reader). Now the popular Chicago improv show is coming to Des Moines and tickets are 45% off at the Temple Theater.

Theater seats are $15.75 (reg. $29) and Cabaret Table seats are $20.75 (reg. $39) for these performances:

  • Wednesday, March 5 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, March 6 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Friday, March 7 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, March 8 at 5 p.m. & 8 p.m.
  • Sunday, March 9 at 3 p.m.

Audience members are invited to pick news articles from local and national publications. The cast, dressed as news anchors, randomly choose a handful of these stories to use as inspiration for fully improvised scenes. The Chicago Tribune praises the ensemble's "collectively sharp instinct" and says "everyone is good here."

Book by March 8.
Restrictions may apply. Limit of 8 tickets. Not valid on previously purchased tickets. Limited quantities available. Discount valid for select performances. Additional fees of $6 per ticket apply. Fees are determined by the venue and ticketing agent and not by Travelzoo.
