"Detroit '67" is currently making its Midwest premiere at the Northlight Theatre and tickets are 50% off for November performances. The play about racial tension in Detroit during the 1967 riots and the beginning of Motown is "riveting," according to The Huffington Post.
Silver seats are $17.50-$26 (reg. $35-$52) and Gold seats are $22-$31.50 (reg. $44-$63) for performances Nov. 12-14 and Nov. 16 - Nov. 30.
"Detroit '67" follows Chelle and Lank who run an after-hours club in the basement of their late parents' house. The music of Motown fuels the play as the siblings navigate their changing lives and city.
