Variety declares "An Iliad" to be "theatrical magic" and now Travelzoo subscribers have a chance to catch the acclaimed play at Indiana Repertory Theatre for half off.

With this deal, all tickets are $12.50-$27.50 (reg. $25-$55) for the following performances:

  • Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 6:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, Oct. 17 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, Oct. 20 at 2 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Oct. 22 at 7:30
  • Thursday, Oct. 24 at 7:30
  • Friday, Oct. 25 at 7:30

The play is based on Homer's saga of the Trojan War, performed by a lone poet. Henry Woronicz ("Seinfeld" and "Law & Order") stars as the poet in what the San Diego Union-Tribune calls "the kind of performance you might wait a lifetime (or three) to see."

Note: The least expensive tickets are for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday performances.

Book by Oct. 24.
