On Friday, Feb. 28, at 8 p.m., special guest pianist and Harvard music professor Robert Levin will play Piano Concerto in C Major. Levin is famous for his work completing and reconstructing classical compositions, most notably Mozart's "Requiem," and is considered a Mozart expert. The Boston Philharmonic Orchestra will also play Bruckner's Seventh Symphony. Tickets are $25-$50 (reg. $50-$100).
On Friday, March 7, at 8 p.m., the Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra will perform the works of three well-known composers: Mozart's "The Marriage of Figaro," Mahler's "Symphony No. 5," and Barber's violin concerto, considered one of the most popular works ever written by an American composer. Tickets are $15-$25 (reg. $30-$50).
