Beijing Symphony embarks on its first U.S. tour this October with a stop at The Music Center at Strathmore. All seats are 50% off for the concert featuring Chinese classical music and Western symphonic music representing the country's culture.

The program will feature music by Chinese composer Guo Wenjing, as well as Prokofiev's "Romeo and Juliet." Wenjing's most popular work is "The Lotus Overture," written in honor of the passing of the torch between the London and Beijing Olympic Games.
