Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Norwegian Breakaway, is now sailing from New York City. Balcony cabins are $849 per person as part of an upgrade sale. This seven-night Bahamas cruise has been reduced by $550 per person and includes an upgrade to a balcony cabin for the price of an oceanview.

The deal includes prepaid gratuities ($168 value), a reduced deposit and $100 in onboard credit to use on drinks, at the spa or shore excursions. These sail dates are available:

  • $849 … Dec. 1, 15
  • $879 … Nov. 17
  • $899 … Oct. 27, Nov. 10, Dec. 8

The ship debuted this spring and is exclusive to New York City departures. Stroll the open-air boardwalk lined with bars or shops, or tackle a three-story ropes course in the sports complex.

The sister ship, the Norwegian Getaway, is set for its inaugural sailing in early 2014. Be one of the first to step aboard for $929 per person on a seven-night voyage to the Eastern Caribbean from Miami on April 26. This balcony cabin offer also includes prepaid gratuities and $100 onboard credit.
