Family vacationers will want to pay a visit to the ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center. Located along the Burlington waterfront, this aquatic educational facility is home to more than 70 species of fish, amphibians, invertebrates and reptiles. ECHO also houses the Awesome Forces Theater, an interactive theatrical experience that immerses visitors in the sights, sounds and textures of billions of years of dramatic geologic history. Among the facility's other attractions are aquatic play space for children and a touch tank that features snails, horseshoe crabs, sea stars and other aquatic life.

The festival, which takes place at both Church Street Marketplace and City Hall Park, draws as many as 25,000 attendees per year.
