Cheap Flights to Syracuse

Syracuse is the cultural and commercial hub of central New York. Throughout its history, the city of nearly 150,000 served as a major crossroads, thanks in part to its proximity to the Erie Canal. Today, much of life in Syracuse revolves around its academic institutions. Syracuse is home to the prestigious Syracuse University as well as a number of smaller colleges and professional schools. The diverse city is divided into 26 neighborhoods, each with its own unique selection of restaurants, shops and bars. Downtown Syracuse's Armory Square is the city's central business district and is a popular place for business travelers to find affordable Syracuse hotels. It's also home to more than 100 shopping and dining options, making it a good place to stay for leisure travelers as well. Syracuse's Little Italy neighborhood is representative of its Italian population. This neighborhood, located just east of downtown, features several blocks of authentic Italian eateries, retailers and bakeries. Budget travelers looking for a cheap night out can visit the popular University Hill neighborhood. Located near the Syracuse Campus, this district is home to bars and clubs that cater to the college-age crowd with daily drink specials. And because three of Syracuse's top ten employers are located in University Hill, it's also a major destination for business travelers. The city also boasts a vibrant performing arts scene and nearly a dozen museums and galleries. You can compare flights to Syracuse using Travelzoo's SuperSearch.
