For an architectural treat, visit Capitol Park. The urban green space and the 17 nearby buildings make up the Capitol Park Historic District, whose Art Deco and Modernist styles give the neighborhood a distinct appearance.

Next, take a stroll through the Detroit International Riverfront. Besides the beautiful vistas of the river, this 5.5-mile promenade boasts ample green spaces, restaurants and shops.
