The Bayfront stretches more than two miles alongside Shoreline Boulevard. The district consists of a series of concrete steps that allow sightseers to get a close-up view of the beautiful azure waters of the Gulf. If you book a hotel room nearby, you can access the Bayfront for morning jobs or evening strolls. Many of the city's major festivals take place near the Bayfront, including the annual 4th of July fireworks display. Head north along the Bayfront area and you'll encounter the American Bank Center.
