The Deal
Discover the intricacies of winter wine-making with this tour of the Niagara wine region from Niagara Fun Tours. For $35, receive roundtrip transportation between Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake, where you'll visit four wineries and have the opportunity to sample ice wine and conventional wine, regularly $89 per person.
Tours last 5-6 hours and are available Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through April 26. Stop at the following wineries (subject to change):
• Palatine Hills Estate Winery: Receive two complimentary wine tastings including the vineyard's new 1812 red and white varietals
• Vignoble Rancourt Winery: Try three wines in the private group tasting room at the family-owned and operated French winery
• Konzelmann Estate Winery: Overlook Lake Ontario while sampling three complimentary tastings from the award-winning vineyard that boasts 10 medals from the 2011 Ottawa Wine Challenge and five medals from the 2011 Canadian Wine Awards
• Caroline Cellars Winery: Sample four wines, including ice wine from this family-run winery whose owners have been growing grapes for four generations in Germany and Canada
This tour also includes a stop at Niagara's only chocolate factory, Chocolate FX, where samples will be provided.
