The Deal
Lounge in luxury at a Four Seasons resort on the exotic island of Nevis for $259 per night with a four-night minimum stay -- that's $1035 per couple. Deluxe mountainside rooms normally cost $345 per night, but this deal discounts the price for stays April 21 - May 31.
An intimate hideaway compared with other Caribbean spots, Nevis is a 45-minute ferry ride from St. Kitts. As part of this special, kids ages 18 and younger ride the private resort ferry roundtrip for free ($60 value per child).
Frommer's calls Four Seasons Resort Nevis "hands down, the most luxurious, most upscale, most prestigious choice on the island." After it completed a $120 million renovation in December 2010, the resort also nabbed a spot on the Conde Nast Traveler’s 2013 Gold List.
Dip in three pools, get pampered in the spa, dine at four restaurants and spend the days using the resort's water sports such as kayaks, sailboards, snorkel equipment and paddleboats. A supervised kids program -- including educational activities about Nevis' endangered sea turtles -- also is available.
To get to the 36-square-mile island, take the ferry from St. Kitts ($120 per adult), or from San Juan, Antigua and St. Maarten, take a flight directly to Nevis' airport.
