The Deal
The Mexican dishes at Milagro have been called "miraculous" by the Toronto Star and earn a "very good to excellent" (21) rating from Zagat. Travelzoo subscribers can savour this upscale cuisine at any of the restaurant's three Toronto locations with a dinner for two that includes a serving of tequila for $45, regularly $110.70.
The three Toronto-area cantinas, founded by a pair of brothers from Mexico City, have become local favourites thanks to their focus on traditional recipes and flavours of Mexico. Select from the authentic menu:
• Any two appetizers, such as taquitos adobados (pan-seared tenderloin and smoked bacon in a three-chile adobo), any of the restaurant's five ceviches, guacamole or a clay pot of queso fundido served with flour tortillas
• Any two entrees, like the cochinita pibil, a pulled pork dish with achiote and orange marinade; the pollo con mole, chicken in traditional mole poblano; or choose from a selection of enchiladas and burritos with a wide array of fillings
• Two 1-ounce servings of tequila chosen from the restaurant's extensive menu (up to $15.90 each)
