The Deal

Check in at the old castle and then drive a few minutes up the road to White Springs, a majestic red-brick mansion that presides over a wide swath of well-manicured greenery. After settling into one of its period guest rooms with a king-size bed, a gas fireplace and a Jacuzzi, unwind with a free wine tasting for two at the nearby Ravines Wine Cellars.
Later on, head back to the old castle to dine at Edgar's Restaurant, whose menu features upscale fare such as broiled mushroom caps stuffed with domestic elk sausage and creamy three-cheese seafood risotto.
Start the morning with honey pecan buttermilk pancakes, eggs or wood-fired turkey sausage; this package includes a choice of a breakfast or lunch buffet for two at Edgar's for each night you stay.
