Chef Martin Juneau was called the "best Canadian chef" by La Presse after taking home the top prize in the Canadian Culinary Championships last year. With this exclusive deal, experience Chef Juneau's cuisine at Newtown with a three-course dinner for two -- including wine pairings and welcome drinks in the lounge -- for $99, regularly $198.
Located in what Frommer's calls "the white-hot center of rue Crescent nightlife," Newtown is also known for its trendy nightclub and founder, Formula 1 racing champion Jacques Villeneuve.
With this deal, two diners can choose from Newtown's seasonally changing menu, including:
• Two pre-dinner cocktails, beers or glasses of house wine in the restaurant's lower-level lounge with two chef-selected amuse-bouche
• Two appetizers, like beef carpaccio with smoky fried potatoes and lemon aioli or a roasted tomato tart with watercress and a pine nut salad
