The Deal

This deal from Chanteclair Villegiature-Resort includes two nights in a studio chalet with a private whirlpool tub weekdays Sept. 4 - Dec. 20 for $169 -- a savings of 50% on regular pricing. Weekend stays are $50 more. Upgrades to larger chalets, which also have private saunas, are available.
Frommer's describes the resort's location in Val-David as a "faintly bohemian enclave" that "conjures up images of cabin hideaways set among hills rearing above ponds and lakes, and creeks tumbling through fragrant forests." Depending on where your cabin is situated, you'll overlook a private beach on Trout Lake or stay tucked in the hills.
In the warmer months, a heated outdoor swimming pool is available, as well as nearby golf and fishing. A visit later in the year offers opportunities for alpine or cross-country skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing at nearby ski stations.
Terms and Conditions
Once the room is reserved with the hotel, hotel cancellation policy prevails, and cancellations or changes must be made seven days prior to arrival or the voucher is subject to forfeiture. A credit card guarantee against damages is required to confirm the reservation: $200 per studio chalet, $350 per two-bedroom chalet, $500 per three-bedroom chalet.
