The Verb hotel is the newest boutique hotel to open adjacent to Boston's Fenway Park. The hotel aims to celebrate the culture of art, music, and rock 'n' roll clubs that gave the Fenway neighborhood its funky, irreverent personality.
Lobby walls are plastered with club fliers, concert posters and record covers while the hotel's 94 recall the legendary musicians who performed at Fenway with carefully curated rock 'n' roll relics. First opened over half a century ago, the remodeled hotel stays true to its motor lodge roots with parking lots next to the rooms, but also includes modern touches like flat-screens TVs and DJs spinning throughout the property. The Verb enlisted its very own vibe conservators, who share memories and stories of Fenway’s rich music, media and arts scenes.
The Fenway neighborhood is off the beaten path for the average tourist and offers a host of areas to explore and unique things to do. Fenway Park hosts hourlong walking tours through the MLB's oldest baseball park. Tours are on non-game days and tickets are available day of, so guests at The Verb can nab tickets early to get a taste of Red Sox Nation.
A 10-minute walk from the hotel delivers guests to Lansdowne Street, the pulse of Boston's nightlife with the highest concentration of pubs, bars and dance clubs in the city. Kenmore Square, the gateway to Fenway Park and Boston University, is one of the most overlooked slices of Boston and adds a bit of funky flavor to the mix. The Verb lies in Boston University’s backyard, making it a convenient and lively lodging option for parents and visitors.
