The Rembrandt Hotel Bangkok is in the lively Sukhumvit area of the city, a 10-minute walk from the Sky Train -- which travels through Bangkok and to and from the airport and the Sukhumvit underground station (MRT). The Sukhumvit Road is well-known for its eclectic street food stalls that showcase the best of Thai cuisine. It’s a 10-minute walk from the hotel, which also provides a free tuk-tuk service there.
There’s a luxurious swimming pool area, as well as a fitness centre and a spa with a sauna and an extensive treatment menu, including traditional Thai massage and Asian herbal scrubs. Guests can learn to cook Thai classics in the hotel’s kitchen. The Rembrandt also offers free Wi-Fi.
Dining options include Red Pepper, which serves Thai cuisine using ingredients sourced from local markets, and Senor Pico, a Mexican restaurant with a live Mariachi band. You’ll find the Rang Mahal restaurant on the rooftop -- it specialises in North Indian food -- while the Da Vinci restaurant focuses on Tuscan dishes. There’s also a buffet, a pool bar and a lobby bar with a pianist.
Bedrooms are spacious -- at least 30 square metres -- and have LCD flat-screen TVs and Thai teak floors. Superior Rooms are on the lower floors, while Deluxe Rooms are on the higher floors and have impressive views of the Bangkok skyline. The hotel suites range from the Terrace Suite, which has a large patio overlooking the city, to the Presidential Suite, which has two living rooms, a dining table for up to 12 guests, a small pantry and two bathrooms.
