"Prague is the equal of Paris in terms of beauty", according to Lonely Planet, while The Daily Telegraph praises its centuries-old "fairytale" architecture. As a conveniently central, comfortable and stylish hotel, Hilton Prague makes an ideal base for exploring all the Czech capital has to offer.
The hotel is in a modern glass building in a quiet and central area of Prague near the banks of the Vltava River. The historic Old Town, where you can take in most of its sights -- including Charles Bridge, Wenceslas Square and the Jewish Quarter -- is a 22-minute walk from the hotel.
The property holds a 2015 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence and a 2014 World Travel Award for Czech Republic's Leading Business Hotel, and it was voted the Best Hotel in the Czech Republic for six years in a row at the TTG Travel Awards (2008-2013). It has a large atrium, an indoor swimming pool, a full-service spa, a sauna, a steam room, a Jacuzzi, a gym and a solarium.
The hotel offers a range of dining options, including the CzecHouse Grill & Rotisserie restaurant, which serves traditional European and Czech cuisine with a modern twist; the Atrium Restaurant in the hotel lobby, for a generous Czech and international breakfast buffet; or the 24-hour Café and Bistro, for lunch, light meals and snacks. After dinner, you can end the night with serious cocktails and light snacks at the hotel's stylish Zest Bar, or the Cloud 9 Sky Bar, which offers panoramic views over the river and city. Smoking is allowed in some sections, which may be unpleasant for non-smoking guests.
Rooms and suites are light, airy, spacious and decorated in warm tones; each comes with cable television. Wi-Fi is free in the lobby and public areas, but comes at an additional charge if you want it in your room. Guests choosing Suites and Executive Rooms have access to the Executive Lounge, with complimentary breakfast, snacks and drinks.
