Set seven miles from the magical world of Mickey, the 64-acre Liki Tiki Village offers so many on-site activities that the kids might want to skip Disney completely. The heated 1.5-acre, 220,000-gallon water park is a real highlight, with a wave pool, five waterslides and an erupting water volcano. Children are also kept busy at the arts and crafts classes available Monday-Friday.
The Harbor features mini golf and shuffleboard, and there are paddleboats to rent for a ride on the property’s picturesque lake (extra charges apply). The air-conditioned fitness center has a well-equipped gym, and there are basketball and tennis courts on site.
