Adina Apartment Hotel is a modern property with apartment-style rooms and a handy location, five minutes by taxi from the heart of Copenhagen. The kitchens in each apartment are fully equipped for a self-catering holiday, making this a good-value option in "Europe's third most expensive city" (Rough Guides). Each spacious apartment also has its own dining area and balcony with city views, and larger apartments also have a separate bedroom.
If you don't fancy cooking, there's a restaurant and bar in the lobby for evening meals or a quiet drink, and guests can fill up on a buffet feast at breakfast (served until 10am during the week and 11am at the weekend). The hotel also offers a heated indoor pool, as well as a sauna and fitness centre. Wi-Fi is free in the lobby and is also available in the bedrooms for an extra charge.
The hotel is set on an emerging stretch of the Copenhagen harbourfront, a short walk from the iconic Little Mermaid statue to the north of the city centre. It's a quiet residential area, sandwiched between the Indre By's museums and the bars and clubs of edgy Nørrebro, described by Lonely Planet as one of "Copenhagen's coolest quarters".
Good transport connections make sightseeing a breeze -- Osterport mainline train station is 10 minutes away on foot, with the train journey to the city centre taking a further 10 minutes. Trains from this station also run directly to Copenhagen Airport, with a journey time of around half an hour. Ferries across the harbour to the Opera House depart from just along the promenade, and the ferry terminal for trips to Oslo is just a couple of blocks along the waterfront from the hotel.
