In the heart of Manhattan, the Hilton Garden Inn Times Square is a good value hotel with the ideal location for exploring. Near 10 different train lines, guests can visit every nook and cranny of New York with ease. The hotel is also walking distance to popular tourist sights, but removed from the everyday congestion of the crowds.
A $9 million renovation took place in 2013 and focused on improving guest rooms and updating the hotel's appearance. Guest can now enjoy the "largest standard size guest rooms" (Oyster) for any Hilton Garden Inn in New York City. Rooms face the streets, so it can be noisy even on the higher floors, but the view is well worth it. All rooms include a mini-fridge, coffeemaker and microwave. Extras can be found in the closets, such as an iron and safe.
The hotel also offers complimentary Wi-Fi and a cozy seating area in the lobby. The on-site French restaurant is a favorite among locals and guests; the bistro has a cozy and intimate atmosphere with framed Parisian posters in the large dining area. A newer feature is the seasonal rooftop lounge, which has a glass roof enclosure allowing the city views to join the party.
