The National Post has praised Alberta Ballet artistic director Jean Grand-Maitre for his tributes to Joni Mitchell, Sir Elton John & Sarah McLachlan, saying "The company’s performance and presence is spectacular." The performance was orchestrated by the Alberta Ballet with the help of k.d. lang. The contemporary ballet is set to Ms. lang's music and will feature her rendition of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah," which she sang at the Vancouver Olympic Games.
