Time magazine calls "War Horse," winner of five Tony Awards in 2011, "a landmark theater event." See this story of friendship and courage, told through "inspired puppetry" (San Francisco Chronicle), with this offer for up to 40% off performances at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium.

The following seating areas are available for performances, Sept. 17-22, in Edmonton:

  • Second Balcony C-F ... $42 (reg. $50-$55)
  • Balcony Terrace Balcony L-N, Second Balcony A-B & L/R Centre A-C ... $49 (reg. $70-$81)
  • Select Main Floor, Lower Orchestra Terrace & First Balcony ... $60 (reg. $81-$97) (Performances Sept 17-19 only)

"War Horse" is the story of a British boy who follows his horse to Europe's battlefields during World War I. The actors in the show are joined by full-scale puppets -- horses created by South Africa's Handspring Puppet Company -- resulting in "a blast of pure theatrical imagination" (Newsday).
