Professional baseball teams flock to the sunny weather of Florida and Arizona each spring to prepare for the upcoming season and play a series of exhibition games. Two famous teams, the Boston Red Sox and Minnesota Twins, play in Fort Myers with lawn section tickets starting at $5 (US$5).

Tickets to see spring training games save 80% compared with the cost of a regular season game. These exhibition games are played through March 30.

Sunny afternoons make picnics popular among fans: The games are played in ballparks that are smaller and more intimate than the teams' home stadiums.

The Red Sox, one of the most historic teams in baseball, date back to 1901 and have won seven world championships. The Twins are three-time world champions.

Note: Additional fees cost about US$11. Rates will be displayed in U.S. dollars. The game between the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees is sold out
